Member Spotlight: Meet Brian Payne, Nashville Attorney, Entrepreneur & Creative Professional

June 26, 2026

At Werkstatt360, we’re fortunate to be surrounded by members whose talents, expertise, and passions make our community stronger and more vibrant. This month, we’re excited to spotlight Brian Lavoy Payne, founder of Brian Lavoy Payne, Attorney at Law, PLLC, and Noteworthy Title & Escrow, LLC.

As a Nashville-based attorney, Brian’s practice focuses on estate planning, probate, real estate law, and title services. Throughout his career, he has built both a successful law practice and a title company with a commitment to professionalism, personal service, and clear communication. His goal is simple: to help clients navigate important life decisions with confidence and peace of mind.

Building a Client-First Practice

Brian’s professional journey is rooted in a desire to create a client experience that reflects his own high standards for service, clarity, and integrity. After years of practicing law, he launched his own firm to combine his legal expertise with his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for helping others through significant milestones in their lives.

Today, as owner of both his law practice and Noteworthy Title & Escrow, Brian oversees everything from estate planning and probate matters to real estate transactions and closings. What he enjoys most about his work is the opportunity to bring clarity and reassurance to situations that can often feel overwhelming.

Creativity Beyond the Courtroom

Outside of the legal world, Brian has a deeply creative side. Music and songwriting have been lifelong passions, leading him to create Pine Brain Music, his music publishing company, and continue pursuing creative projects alongside his legal career.

That passion even inspired the name Noteworthy Title & Escrow. The name carries a double meaning: a nod to Brian’s love of music and a recognition that buying or selling a home is often a truly noteworthy milestone in a person’s life. In keeping with that theme, Noteworthy offers a special discount to buyers and sellers in the music industry.

One fun fact many people don’t know is that Brian released a Christmas song he wrote on Spotify titled “Waiting in the Wings”. While he isn’t pursuing a career as a recording artist, he enjoys sharing his music and creative work with others

What Inspires Him

Brian is inspired by people who combine excellence with authenticity and use their talents to genuinely help others. He also draws inspiration from creativity, leadership, resilience, and the pursuit of clarity in both life and work.

Looking Ahead

Professionally, Brian hopes to continue growing both his law practice and title company while maintaining the personalized service that has become a hallmark of his businesses. He’s also working toward completing and publishing his GoSolutions® book, a framework centered on clarity, purpose, and intentional living, while continuing to write and pitch songs.

More broadly, his goal is to build a life and body of work that combines meaningful service, creativity, and purpose.
